The ICR is proud of our award-winning apprenticeship programme for aspiring laboratory research technicians.
In partnership with Tiro and supported by a £1m grant from the Wellcome Trust, our initiative is designed to:
- Provide apprentices with hands-on experience and career development opportunities.
- Create a more inclusive and diverse environment within the scientific community.
- Highlight the vital role of scientific research technicians.
Our apprentices are working closely with local schools and attending and presenting at technical conferences to spotlight technical career paths in research.”
