Charles Muya

Charles Muya is the Programme Manager at the Kenya Network of Cancer Organizations (KENCO), where he leads the implementation of national cancer control programmes, strategic partnerships, and policy advocacy initiatives. His work includes coordinating donor-funded programmes and engaging with the Ministry of Health, the National Cancer Institute–Kenya, county governments, and civil society organizations.

He contributes to programme implementation, monitoring, and reporting, and has participated in national legislative and policy consultations related to cancer control and health systems strengthening. He has also contributed to the development of Kenya’s Cancer Policy. His professional interests include programme management, health policy, partnership development, patient-centred cancer care, and multi-sectoral collaboration across cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, and survivorship.
