Islem Khelf
MD, Assistant Professor in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery
Islem Khelf is an Assistant Professor in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine of Annaba, Badji Mokhtar University, Algeria. He earned his Doctorate in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Annaba in 2014 and completed a Diploma of Special Medical Studies (DEMS) in Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic Surgery and Burnology in 2021.
His oncology-related work focuses on oncoplastic and reconstructive surgery, including the surgical management of soft tissue and complex skin tumors, particularly in the face and neck, as well as post-mastectomy breast reconstruction. Alongside his clinical practice, he is involved in training medical interns and plastic surgery residents and supervising academic work in reconstructive surgery.
