Naveen P Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, India. He completed his MBBS at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, followed by an MD in Radiotherapy and a Head and Neck Clinical Oncology Fellowship at the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists in Clinical Oncology in 2021 and also completed a Senior Clinical Fellowship in Oncology at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust in the United Kingdom.
His clinical work includes the non-surgical management of solid tumors, with experience in head and neck, breast, neuro-oncology, genitourinary, and gynecologic cancers. His practice incorporates chemotherapy, advanced radiotherapy techniques, stereotactic treatment, and brachytherapy. He is also involved in postgraduate teaching, clinical research, and radiation oncology education.
