Prisca Githuka is a breast cancer survivor, cancer advocate, and health systems leader, as well as the Founder and Executive Director of the Pink Hearts Cancer Support Foundation. Her work focuses on equitable access to cancer care, universal health coverage, survivorship, patient support, and strengthening patient-centred health systems.

She also serves as Chairperson of the Cancer Survivors Association of Kenya, Vice Chairperson of the Kenyan Network of Cancer Organizations (KENCO), and Chair of KENCO’s Advocacy, Education and Research Committee. Her advocacy extends to national and international initiatives addressing cancer and non-communicable diseases, including patient advocacy and survivorship groups linked to ESMO, the NCD Alliance, the American Cancer Society, and Kenya’s Ministry of Health. Her work is shaped by both her experience as a cancer survivor and her involvement in patient advocacy and health policy.
