Rona Joseph

Rona Joseph is an Additional Professor of Medical Oncology, Lead Consultant Medical Oncologist in the Breast Cancer Clinic, and Deputy Medical Superintendent at the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram, India. She completed her MD in General Medicine at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, followed by DM training in Medical Oncology at the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram.

Her clinical and academic interests include breast cancer, cancers affecting women and younger patients, cancer prevention, and clinical research. She serves as principal investigator for investigator-initiated studies and national and international breast cancer clinical trials, including studies in HER2-positive, hormone receptor-positive, and triple-negative breast cancer. She is also involved in postgraduate medical education, examination, scientific publishing, and the management of solid and hematologic malignancies.
