Roshan Daniel

Roshan Daniel is a Clinical Geneticist and Head of the Department of Medical Genetics at KIMSHealth Hospital & Cancer Centre in Thiruvananthapuram, India. He completed his MD in Pediatrics and DM in Medical Genetics at PGIMER Chandigarh and holds the European Certificate in Medical Genetics & Genomics and a PG Diploma in Precision Oncology.

His clinical and academic work focuses on oncogenetics, hereditary cancer syndromes, tumor genomics, precision oncology, and germline and somatic variant interpretation. At KIMSHEALTH, he has established an integrated oncogenetics service and developed in-house genomic testing capabilities, including NGS-based tumor and germline panels. He is also involved in molecular tumor boards, genetic counseling, clinician education, and integrating genomic information into routine oncology decision-making.
