“The best thing that happened to our amyloidosis program was our strong collaboration with Cardio-Oncology and Zubair Shah. We still remember our first patient with AL amyloidosis who underwent a cardiac transplant – the challenges, the struggle, and how we made it happen.
This program grew because of true teamwork!
One lesson for all junior faculty: success is built on teamwork. Surround yourself with great people, collaborate, and grow together!”
